About the Director

Jill Dillon has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development from Western Governor's University. She is a mother of 4 vibrant boys and was a stay-at-home mom for 12 years before launching Rocking Chair Childcare in 2015. Her heart is to help parents raise their children in a Godly, home-like environment with Biblical principles.

Things to know

staying well

We are a ministry of Rock Church Franklin in Franklin, VA. We are a religiously exempt child daycare center.
- Routines will be implemented.
- You must pack your child's lunch ; we provide an afternoon snack.
- Naptime will follow lunchtime.
- Educational activities are planned throughout the week (working at each child's personal level.)
- Pre-K4  and Kindergarten classes are available during the school year. (ABEKA curriculum)
RCC employees do our very best to keep our environment clean. We take extra precautions to sanitize surfaces regularly. We do a quick health screening for each child upon arrival.

  • We are a Christian based Daycare/Preschool/Kindergarten.
  • We service children ages 2-5 years old.
  • We generally have 3 classrooms during the school year.
  • One is for 2-3 year olds, another for K4, and the last is for Kindergarten.

Hours and Pricing

Hours of Operation:
7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Cost:
$165.00 - Full Time Students (5 days a week)   OR
$38.00 per day - Part Time (less than 5 days, 2 days required as a minimum.)

Other Fees:
$100 - Annual Enrollment Fee
$150 (approx.) Curriculum fee

Our childcare ministry provides a newly renovated facility, smaller class sizes, instructional opportunities, Christian caretakers, and peace of mind for parents.
Pre-school activities are conducted each day to get your child on the right track for their future, while allowing plenty of time for creativity and play!
